I mean, seriously. Who EVER fills in that little log book after a car trip? I know, I know, no one will ever own up to filling the thing in at the end of the year because we all know that’s illegal, right?
But here you are: an app that allows you to scan receipts and track time or mileage for your tax deductions. So you can put the info into your phone rather than scrabbling about in the pocket of the car door, trying to find the grubby little, dog-eared book that the accountant has given to you.
What’s also cool about Expensify is that it pulls information from the receipts including date, time, amount and merchant and puts it all into a CSV file ready for your accountant at tax time.
This has to be one of the most useful business apps on the market.
